The Special Called City Council Meeting for Thursday, May 23, 2019, will still be held as scheduled at 5:00 PM at City Hall, 242 Hampton Street for the purpose of consideration of a resolution to execute forms pursuant to a USDA Rural Development Community Facilities Grant.

Immediately following the Special Called Meeting, City Council will have a Work Session for a presentation/discussion on the results of the Utility Rate Study.
Hydrant Maintenance & Flushing Hydrant Testing Members of the Walterboro Fire Department have implemented a hydrant maintenance and flushing program. Flushing will be conducted throughout the month of February.

The February 5, 2019 regular City Council Meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 6:15 P.M. at City Hall, 242 Hampton Street, Walterboro, SC.

Comprehensive Engineering Services pertaining to the City's Water & Sewer Utilities
The City of Walterboro is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified Engineering firms to serve as consulting engineers for the City in the preparation of various engineering services that may be requested or required from time to time as needed for maintaining and upgrading its Water & Sewer Utility systems. Women and minority-owned firms are encouraged to apply.
