Wildlife Walk with Dr. Eran Kilpatrick

May 4

Dr. Eran Kilpatrick, a biology professor at USC Salkehatchie, will lead a walk on Saturday May 4, 2019 at 9 a.m. in the Walterboro Wildlife Sanctuary. This walk will start at the Detreville Street Entrance, 399 Detreville Street. Kilpatrick will point out birds as well as other interesting flora and fauna of the sanctuary.

Relay For Life Colleton County

It takes teamwork to fight cancer. Join us, and together, we'll attack cancer in our community and, eventually, defeat our biggest rival.

"RELAY YOUR WAY"
Our goal is to allow everyone to get creative with your booths, feel free to pick an individual theme for your team, most of all just have fun with it!!!!!!

Lowcountry Dinosaur Talk and "Dig"

This fun talk from Charleston Fossil Adventures (CFA) is about all of our Lowcountry animals from the Ice Age mammals to the marine critters, including Otodus megalodon. After the talk CFA will have a Dig-Your-Own fossil bin for the kids and adults to dig through and unearth fun fossils that they can take home!

If you can't get enough dinosaurs in your life make sure to stop by the museum and check out our collection of fossils or book an adventure with CFA to go fossil huning!

Earth Day Litter Cleanup

On Monday the 22nd of April Colleton, Jasper, Hampton and Beaufort counties are getting together for a mass Earth Day Cleanup. (See attached flyer) Your help is needed!
This event will also be in preparation for Rice Festival, the following weekend. Please make an effort to clean your adopted streets to tell all those who come to this city that we take PRIDE in our community.
