The City of Walterboro has one (1) opening for a Wastewater Technician in the Wastewater Department.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for various activities pertaining to the maintenance and repair of sewer treatment plant and related equipment including sewer pump stations.
- Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and vocational/technical training with 1-2 years of experience in wastewater treatment and maintenance, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
- Applicant must have a valid SC Commercial Drivers license or the ability to obtain within six (6) months.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Please submit a 3-year driving record with application.
- $17.64 hourly.
