Part-Time Clerk

The City of Walterboro has an opening for one (1) Part-Time Clerk at the Walterboro Wildlife Center.

• The successful candidate will welcome, provide printed information, and answer questions from the public that stop by the Wildlife Center.
• Will assist the Tourism Director in tracking the visitors at the Wildlife Center and logging them into Excel Spreadsheets. Other duties as assigned.
• The position is two days per week 10am-5pm and rotating Saturdays. Other hours as required are possible around special events.
• The candidate should have a good knowledge of the local area, good communication skills, and knowledge of basic computer operations. Knowledge of local history is helpful.
• Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen & background check.
• Hourly rate: $11.71
