NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

PROSECUTOR SERVICES

The City of Walterboro is soliciting proposals from qualified attorneys or law firms to provide prosecutor services for the Walterboro Municipal Court, in accordance with applicable municipal, state, and federal laws.

Scope of Services:

The selected Prosecutor will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Representing the Municipality in all municipal court matters.
• Preparing cases for trial and conducting prosecutions as required.
• Advising municipal law enforcement personnel regarding legal matters related to prosecution.
• Ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical obligations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in the State of South Carolina and in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in municipal or criminal law is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of municipal court procedures and prosecutorial ethics.

Submission Details:

Interested parties must submit a proposal including the following:

• Resume or firm profile and relevant experience.
• Fee schedule (hourly rate or flat fee).
• Proof of professional liability insurance.
• Two references.
