Customer Service Specialist

The City of Walterboro has one (1) opening for a Customer Service Specialist in the Finance Department.  

• The successful candidate will need to possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle monetary transactions, and successfully balance daily.
• Duties will include billing for utilities, processing all types of payments, service orders, business license and other duties as assigned.
• The candidate must have previous cash experience, knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs and various office equipment.
• Minimum High School Education or equivalent required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Benefits package
• Hourly rate – $16.50
