Both were buried in Live Oak Cemetery after their deaths. Discover the stories behind these tragic deaths and others during a tour of the two sections of Walterboro’s historic Live Oak Cemetery. The tour will also discuss burial practices of more than a century ago as well as the language of tombstones.

The tour is appropriate for Adults and Kids, age 12+.
Closed toed shoes and long pants recommended as some areas of the cemetery might have long grass or storm debris. Hats and water might also be welcome. The tour will last just over an hour.
