First Thursday

January 3

Please join the Main Street merchants and the City of Walterboro in a new program called First Thursday. On the First Thursday of each month, East Washington Street will be closed to traffic from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Come downtown to shop, dine, and play! Musical entertainment will be held at the Waterfall Plaza! This is a free event.

Walterboro City Council will hold a Special Called Meeting on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 5:00pm in Council Chambers at City Hall, 242 Hampton Street.

Colleton County Rice Festival Presents the Taste of Walterboro!!

 

Come try Walterboro's finest cuisine from 20+ different style restaurants 

Tickets will be sold in advance for $20 per ticket at the Colleton County Rice Festival office located at 200 E Washington St. Suite A, Walterboro, SC 

This is a 21+ year old event ONLY!

Beer & Wine will be served to all guests

East Washington Street will be closed to traffic from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Come downtown to shop, dine, and play! Musical entertainment will be held at the Waterfall Plaza! This is a free event. 

Each month in 2019 we will continue this downtown event on the First Thursday of the month!

Calligraphy Class

Whether it's improving one's penmanship, addressing wedding envelopes or creating unique art, calligraphy is for anyone who wants to try a fun, 2-hour class. Workshop fee of $25 includes instruction, guides, practice papers, calligraphy pen & materials to create a themed class art.
