Economic Development Coordinator
The City of Walterboro is now recruiting for the position of Economic Development Coordinator. This position requires a degree in business or public administration, political science or a similar field and at least two years of post-graduate experience in Economic Development, Community Development or a closely related discipline, such as management of a community-based program or sales of intangibles. Applicant must possess excellent communication skills. Up to 15% overnight travel may be required. Starting salary range is low to mid $30K along with an excellent benefits package. PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT
COMMUNICATIONS TECHNICIAN
The City of Walterboro Police Department has an opening for a Communications Technician. The candidate will monitor and dispatch police patrol units and answer emergency and non-emergency telephone calls; receive complaints from the public, refers information to appropriate officer or agency and other duties as required. Applicant must have a High School Diploma or equivalent with a valid S.C. Driver’s License. Minimum salary is $10.33 per hour.

PARKS DEPARTMENT
Laborer
The Parks Department is now accepting applications for a laborer. Applicant must pass a drug test and background check. Experience preferred, but not required.
